Faith Freeman LM
As a Midwife since 2006, with both national and global experience, Faith is passionate to continue to bring midwifery care to every person. She currently provides midwifery care at Mind Body Birth Center in DTLA, the partnering company to The Foxx Foundation, where she serves a diverse population of clients, as well as specializing in training student midwives. Faith loves being a parent to her daughter, Kisstance, and experienced firsthand the positive impact that comes from being provided a scholarship by her own midwives for her midwifery care during her pregnancy. Faith is an abolitionist and strongly believes that the barriers and injustices that face BIPOC, Queer, and low-income families must be demolished, and that accessing and receiving quality midwifery care is a basic right due to everyone.
Tchala Reid
As someone who's always been passionate about access and equity in healthcare, Tchala began working in the birth world in 2018 from the administrative side. As the Administrative Director of Mind Body Birth Center, the partnering company to The Foxx Foundation, she is known for fighting for more insurance coverage, better financial options for clients, and new ways to bring accessibility to each individual seeking midwifery care. Tchala led the development of The Foxx Foundation, and heads both the grant writing, funding applications, and volunteer committees for the various funding streams and programs that acquire monies used to fund midwifery scholarships and programs to improve the accessibility of midwifery care, especially as it relates to the BIPOC, Queer, and low-income communities.
